The heavy metal band Legions was formed in 2000 with the lineup: Ante-guitar and vocals, Putte-guitar, Johan-bass and Malte-drums. They recorded the 5 track demo “WHEN DEATH IS CALLING YOU”.

In late 2001 the high-pitch metal vocalist Kjelle joined Legions, they recorded a 3 track demo “TURN IT ON”. When Johan and Malte decided to leave the band in the summer 2002 Legions changed name to EVIL CONSPIRACY. The former “Nugatory” and “All Orange” drummer Veikko joined the band along with the bass-guitar playing maniac Martin from “Phobos” and “Wish”. They recorded the demos “DISAPPEAR” in 2003 “TOOLS OF EVIL” in 2004 and “EVIL COMES TO TOWN”in 2005.

The first gig took place in Örebro Sweden when Evil Conspiracy opened up for Lost Horizon at their tour premier… A few more gigs and a lot of fans more Evil Conspiracy was one of the headline acts at the Wretstock festival. In the early 2004 Evil Conspiracy was the supporting act at “Dionysus” release party in Örebro, and received outstanding rewiews from the audience.

At early spring of 2005 Kjelle decided to leave the band, so they contacted Stefan Berglund from the swedish doom-metal act MEMORY GARDEN www.memorygarden.net.

The first gig with Stefan was in dec 2005 when they were the supporting act for the swedish metal band NOCTURNAL RITES, and to tell you the truth it was a blast with Stefan on stage.

And then they released the promo-cd “THE PLAGUE” with Mike Wead ( king diamond, memento mori, candlemass…) and Simon Johansson ( Memory garden, Fifth reason, Abstarkt Algebra and more…..) as the producers. 

And in june 2006 Stefan Berglund decided to join the band fulltime. In the fall of 2006 they supported big acts like EVERGREY and SABATON.

In early 2008 we decided to move on without Stefan, he had to much to deal with in his other band MEMORY GARDEN, he just doesn’t had the time we need from a vocalist. After some searching for a replacement we got in contact with a guy called Morgan, he was the singer in CRYSTAL BLUE in the 90’s. And he is now the singer in this absolutely awesome band.

We really feel that this is THE lineup, we are stronger than ever and a new promo-cd will be ready in 2008.

So the story towards world domination continues.
